Hello dear readers,
I do not know if you had the opportunitychance to read the articles about my stay in Venice in MY JOURNAL, but I also wanted to share a travel guide to summarize the activities not to be missed. Especially since I went there for only 5 days, so the purpose of this article is to make you an express guide!
2. San Marco square / Basilica San Marco
It is an emblematic place dating back to the 12th century dominated by the famous St. Mark’s Basilica.
San Marco Square is located on the edge of the Grand Canal and is the heart of the city.
3. The Doge’s palace
The Doge’s Palace or Ducal Palace is a Venetian palace of Gothic and Renaissance styles located on St. Mark’s Square. This building was the official residence of the Doges of the Republic of Venice, as well as the place of representation of its major institutions of the time.
4. The Bridge of Sighs
It is an emblematic building built in white stone. The arch bridge takes its name from the sighs of prisoners who borrowed from the Doge’s palace to the prison.
5. The Great Canal
The Grand Canal is the main maritime artery that runs through Venice, Italy.
So this is it dear readers,
This was my Top 5 must do in Venice. There are so many beautiful things to see, museums to visit, restaurants to try. Venice is an amazing city and if you have the chance to spend more time there than me, you will not get bored!
